Ada R. Andrews

Obituary: Mrs. Andrews was born in Artesia, MS to the late Finney and Daisy Byron Upchurch. 

She was a graduate of Artesia High School and member of Central United Methodist Church. 

She owned and operated Fiesta and State Drive-Inns and enjoyed politics and spending time 
on the family farm in south Lowndes County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in 
death by her husband, Edwin H. Andrews, Sr. and sons, Buddy and Don Andrews. 

Survivors include her sons, 
Edwin H. Andrews, III of Madison, MS; 
Greg D. Andrews of Columbus,MS; 
James D. "Jay" Andrews of Columbus, MS 
and daughter, Haley McCraney of Maui, HI; 
grandchildren, Matt McCraney and Austin Andrews. 

Pallbearers will be Ira Andrews, Curtis Gentry, Bill Kidder, John Younger, Steve Lee, 
Mark McGee, Kenny Younger, Jerry Younger, and Gill Dishongh,III. 

Gordon, Jr., Richard Brown, Mike Andrews, Jim Mann, Dennis Carana, Johnny Frye, Dr. 
Charlie Holcomb, Rory Roark, Richard Hutcherson, Bruce Sansing, Jr., Employees of the 
Lowndes County Courthouse and friends of the family.
