Jesta Billingsley Jesta Billingsley, 84, died Sept. 29, 2006, at her residence. Graveside services are today at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Mickey Dalrymple officiating. Visitation is today from 1 p.m. until service time at Gunter and Peel Funeral Home in Columbus. Mrs. Billingsley was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Macon to the late Bennie B. and Margaret Young Gilmore. She was retired from United Technology. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.G. "Stony" Billingsley; one sister; and three brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Deede Rowan of Fort Smith, Ark., Tammy Simon of Caledonia and Angie Rushing of Columbus; sons, Daryl and Teddy Billingsley, both of Columbus; sisters, Dot Ray, Margaret Robinson and Polly Owens, all of Columbus; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Daryl and Teddy Billingsley, Nick and Cade Simon, Eddie Rushing, Damon Rowan and Don Owens will serve as pallbearers.
