Died Late Yesterday Afternoon at
Her Residence

Funeral services for Mrs. William Burton Ice,
57, will be held today at 4 p.m. at Gunter
Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Rev. W. B. Kempt will officiate.

Mrs. Ice died late yesterday afternoon at her
residence.

She was born in Lowndes County and had lived
here all of her life.  She was a member of the
Wesley Methodist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, T. E. Locke,
Columbus, J. R. Locke, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and
R. M. Locke, Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Fred
Ashford, Courtland, Ala, and Mrs. E. O. Aven,
Atlanta, Ga; four nieces and three nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Henry Lee Davis,
W.C. Boyd, Charlie Sobley, James Phillips,
Howard Richardson and R. M. Pate.

Honorary pallbearers will be V. M. Pate, F. M.
Vaughan, Sr., Henry Copeland, K. L. Spurlock,
Ralph Carter, W. D. Bishop, Jack Atkins,
Dr. W. L. Stallworth and Dr. John Oliver.

On the Flower committee will be Mrs. W. W. 
Bryson, Mrs. John Oliver, Mrs. K. L. Spurlock,
Mrs. W. C. Boyd, Mrs. George Berry, Mrs. M. 
D. Hollingsworth, Mrs. Ralph Carter, Mrs. W.
