Johnny M. Morrison

CALEDONIA - Johnny Mack Morrison, 58, died Oct. 13, 2006, at 
Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Graveside services are 
today at 2 p.m. at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia with Don Harding 
officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of 
arrangements. Mr. Morrison was born July 21, 1948, in 
Natchitoches, La., to Lee Boyce and Mary Helen Morrison. 
He was a self-employed truck mechanic and a member of 
Big Creek Baptist Church. He attended Kolola Springs Baptist Church. 
He was a gunsmith and a member of the NRA.In addition to his parents, 
he is survived by his wife, Barbara Morrison of Caledonia; sons, Kenneth 
Akins of Columbus and Richard Akins of Caledonia; daughter, Deborah 
Reeves of Caledonia; brother, Clovis Lee Morrison of Baton Rouge, La.; 
and three grandchildren. His friends will serve as pallbearers.
