Nathan Pack, Jr. Nathan Pack, Jr., age 83, died November 12, 2008, at his residence in Columbus. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 15, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. The private family interment will be at Friendship Cemetery. The visitation will also be on Saturday, November 15, 2008, one hour prior to the service at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mr. Pack was born July 16, 1925, in Memphis, TN, to the late Nathan and Ola Carter Pack. He was raised in Iuka, MS, and was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy on board the USS Belle. Mr. Pack attended Mississippi State University, retired from Mills Morris Company, and was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Louise Williams Pack of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law, Nate and Marilyn Pack of Columbus; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Butch Glenn of Columbus and Carol and Danny Walden of Columbus; grandchildren, Gabrial Boykin (Valerie), Robert Pack (Christin), and Andrew Pack; and great- grandchildren, Davis Boykin and Drew Pack. Pallbearers will be Gabrial Boykin, Robert Pack, Andrew Pack, Sam Bardwell, Tommy Jones, and Larry Thomasson. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
