Joe A. Pritchard Jr.

Joe A. Pritchard, 69, died Dec. 2, 2006, at his residence. 

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Beersheba Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church with Charlie Studdard and Terry Maynard 
officiating. Burial will follow at Beersheba Cemetery. Visitation is 
today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral. 

Mr. Pritchard was born April 11, 1937, in Pickensville, Ala., to 
Mildred Randle Cook and the late Joe A. Pritchard Sr. 

Joe was a former employee of Mitchell Engineering. He later 
formed Pritchard Construction Co., operating as a master craftsman 
until his retirement in 1999. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Allsion Kizer, 
Wendy Franks and Pam Acker; sisters, Vera Tilley and Cynthia 
Crosswhite; brother, Jim Cook; and eight grandchildren. 

Jerry and Greg Gee, Donald and, Dale Atkins, Doug Brown, Bob 
Phillips and Roscoe Shepherd will serve as pallbearers. Memorials
