Sonny C. Wells

Sonny Charles Wells, 53, died Sept. 28, 2006, at North 
Mississippi Medical Center. Services will be Saturday 
at 11 a.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Church with Pastor 
Dorian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Union 
Cemetery. 
Visitation is today from noon until 5 p.m. at Lee-Sykes 
Funeral Home of Columbus. 

Mr. Wells was born May 3, 1952, to the late Olen and 
Maggie Wells. He was a member of Greater Mt. Zion Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Wells of Columbus; 
daughter, Tamika Hudgins; son, Charles Wells of Columbus; 
sisters, Ossie MarKray, Helen Latham and Linda and Bettye 
Gregory, all of Columbus, and Catherine Neely of Chattanooga, 
Tenn.; and brothers, Jessie Troupe and Leroy Wells of Columbus. 

Leonard and Anthony Wells, Kelly and Jimmy MarKray, 
Jason Latham and Damany Neely will serve as pallbearers.
