Mary B. West Dies; Services Set Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Blanche (Roberts)
West, 73, will be held from the First United Methodist
Church at 2 p.m. Sunday.  The Rev. J. C. Christian
will officiate.  Graveside rites will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Monday at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, La., with
Gunter and Holmes Funeral Home in Charge of
arrangements.

Mrs. West, widow of the late E. C. West, who formerly
operated the Toggery Shop here, was an active member 
of the First United Methodist Church.  She was also a
member of the Women's Society Christian Service and a
member of the Columbus Rose Garden Club.  Mrs. West
was a graduate of MSCW and had recently attended her
50th reunion of her graduating class.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Sue) Brizuis of 
Kirkwood, Mo., and Mrs. Larry (Sarah Ann) Koehn of Mabel, Minn.;
one brother, James N. Roberts, Jr., of Columbus, and
six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the retirement of the church
debt of the First United Methodist Church or the Palmer
Home.
