This cemetery is just west of the Crawford town limits on the north
side of the Crawford-Starkville road. The cemetery is in use and is
well maintained. There are a number of family plots surrounded by
metal fences or stones.
The cemetery is partially surrounded by a wire fence. There is a
black cemetery immediately to the north of the white cemetery
and just outside the fence.
There is a white frame church across the street which is used
by African Americans. This possibly may have been the site of
the old Presbyterian Hill Church which, according to the WPA Lowndes
County source material compiled in 1936-1938 was about one half mile
from Crawford with an old cemetery nearby.
